Other shampoos rely on sulfates to cleanse and synthetic agents to create the illusion of softness. Ours are sulfate free and instead use amino acid cleansers, which are far gentler and work with the hair rather than stripping it. The base of our formula is 65% real rice water, supported by ingredients like biotin, rosemary oil and caffeine.
The result is a formula that gets to work from the very first wash and continues to improve your hair with continued use.
Our formula works by repairing the hair strand from within rather than coating it, which means it works with your hair’s natural structure rather than masking it. Rice water and keratin penetrate the strand to improve its condition over time, whilst our amino acid cleansers gently lift buildup without stripping.

Yes. Rice water and Ginger Root Oil are both known for their soothing properties and have shown benefits for a range of scalp conditions. We have even received feedback from customers reporting improvements in their psoriasis with continued use.
Our products are also completely fragrance free, making them suitable for sensitive scalps.
We do not use any added fragrance in our products, making them suitable for sensitive skin. Any scent comes entirely from the natural ingredients themselves. Customers have described it as fresh, clean and natural, with some comparing it to mango sticky rice or rice pudding. It is a subtle scent and does not linger in the hair.
Yes, and it is especially loved by those with dry, heat-damaged or chemically treated hair. Rice water and Keratin work to repair and strengthen the hair strand from within, making our formula particularly beneficial for hair that needs a little extra care.
Our products are completely paraben and sulfate-free.
We use a very small amount of dimethicone (less than 0.2%) in our formulation to give our shampoo a silky texture.
We understand that some people prefer to avoid silicones due to concerns about build-up and their potential to weigh hair down. However, not all silicones behave in the same way, and their effects depend on the type used, concentration and overall formulation, and at this concentration dimethicone does not build up on the hair.
The rice water, amino acid cleansers and keratin in our formula are all working to nourish and repair the hair strand, which is the opposite of what a silicone-heavy product would do.
We believe in choosing ingredients based on what they bring to the formulation, rather than excluding them simply because of their reputation.
