Thoroughly wet hair with water. Dispense shampoo into your palms and apply to the scalp, roots, and lengths. I’ve used sulfate free shampoos for the past 10 years, some are hit and miss. I really like how well this foams, a little shampoo goes a long way. Doesn’t leave my scalp feeling dry or my hair ‘squeaky clean’ as some other sulfate free shampoos have. Using it with my usual conditioner but once it has finished I will purchase the conditioner also.
I started using shisiedo shampoo for thinning hair after being recommended it. I didn’t really notice a difference but it left my hair very soft but flat. Switched back to the rice water shampoo and IMMEDIATELY my curls were much tighter and defined. Can’t comment much on hair growth as I’ve only been using it a short time but I feel it’s very slowly helping with thinning on my parting. My cousin has very straight hair and this shampoo has helped it to be less frizzy and more sleek.
